just to correct the publics misconceptions…

it must be admitted we (the guys from 19-zoll stammtisch) just love analogue and oldschool gear, worship the minimoog & co, consider laptops pretty unsexy for music performances and ableton absolutely not ‘live’.

ditching digital stuff in general however is just a prejudice against us that seems to have grown little too far. it’s not true. like the teenage engineering op-1 is a digital pipsqueak we adore; easy and intuitively like a portastudio, focussed as an mc-202, mighty like an arp odyssey with the sonic pressure of an mpc 2000 and cute like a toy as a casio vl-tone (which has been my first synth found under the xmas tree when i was six -ron).

power-on, press any key and ready to rumble is the only dogma we have. with or without sync. analogue or digital who cares? strong character coming out of the speaker is the only thing that counts.
