EDIT: this invitation to our very first meeting is a kind of “about us” or FAQ.

let’s talk about gear, baby! the stammtisch FAQ:

who isn’t familiar with: two musicians meet at some party and in no time at all they start chatting tech-talk; all others are starting to yawn… now we start something to counteract by calling together you tech geeks at the “19-zoll stammtisch” (the 19 inch regulars’ table).

we’re going to talk about:

  • modifications
    how to modify my favorite gear?
  • cloning
    how to DIY my favourite gear?
  • repair
    how to cure my sick gear?
  • selfmade
    how to homebrew gear that noone has seen before?
  • circuit bending
    how to transform your preset box into an aphextwin soundtrack?
  • know how
    where to get parts and how to install them?

bring your own toy!

live jam round the clock… to not end up too theoretically, we encourage everyone to bring something you built or modded, or maybe you wanna mod and ask others about their opinion.

we meet for the first time on thursday, october 25th 2007 at 20:00.
location: berlin f’hain (see below).

    Ich muss leider bis 20 uhr arbeiten, komme aber nach und habe den ganzen tag was auf was ich mich freuen kann. yo bin dabei:). meine zweite helfte natürlich auch.
