as previously announced we´re hosting two DIY workshops by leaf-audio in september. soldering greenhorns or electronic acrobats are invited to come and build a little sound-wonder-in-a-box. no special experiences are required, however you need to bring your own soldering iron.

let´s add “to develop one´s artistic talent” and “joy of music”. therefore we´ll move the jam into the big saloon and encourage you to bring your sonic apparatus whether it´s a drumcomputer, synthesizer, FX, drum or flute. so join the wavy.

the hypnotic velvet underground meter:

actually it´s the right time for an analog VU-meter revival. loudness war made fast peak meters kind of obsolete - since the meters don´t move anymore the VU-needle became fast enough to measure the program material.
on this note: we want more magnetoelectric needle displays ;)
