film: als CRACKER-INTRO starten wir mit “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters“, der doku über Steve Wiebe und seinem kampf gegen Billy Mitchell um den weltrekord high score in der arcadeversion von Donkey Kong.

gameplay: ein reichhaltiges buffet an joysticks, controllern, floppy disks, ein lichterpixelmeer und bleeps & blops.

aphex twin did it when there wasn’t even a name for it - circuit bending, the 21st century hype? remember the first time you saw a bent toy or already abandoned pcm drumcomputer spitting out glitches and crushes leaving your mouths open? although the masses of SK-1 bending fireworks may have decreased the fascination for many DIYers it’s still an excellent discipline for building your own custom box. therefore we’ll try to tinker inside a yamaha rx-7 on thursday and see how it will perform - live bending…
