mdz podcast? no, i’m not starting a radioshow, but those who like listening to all the mp3s posted at mdz directly in itunes can do it from now, using its podcast feature.

well, shurely this is not a classic example of a podcast and above all it ever has been possible with rss feeds anyway. however itunes didn’t work very well (the issue is about multiple enclosures) - if there were multiple mp3s included itunes did just show the first one…

anyway, it’s all water under the bridge now: here we go to the mdz podcast in itunes.

ipodderx users may stick with the normal rss feed or use the one pimped for itunes (geekinfo: which will wrap each mp3 into a new rss item). dunno about outher podcast clients, feel free to post your experiences in the comments section below…

so sorry to announce: we had to remove some of our mp3 files from mdz.de due to server problems - just too many hits for our server machine…

you may see this page ’cause you were redirected from some locked up mp3-URI, probably from www.phil-stumpf.com which is also hosted at mdz.de.

we are currently looking for a solution to re-serve those mp3s soon. in the meantime please stay tuned and feel free to complain in the comments section.

if anyone out there could help (if you got lotsa bandwith you’re not using and like to share) please let us know - drop a comment or mail.

update: www.phil-stumpf.com moved to another server and we’re happy to anounce that all mixes are back online now.

so now let´s roll: stinky old website has been shut down and the new online home is ready to grow. first titbit to offer is a collection of past & present audio tracks inside this flash7-based mp3-player. ok, now we´re ready to turn over a new leaf…

allright, the mdz blog is starting so welcome to day one!

in the years i´ve been running www.mdz.de (think it started in 1998) i´ve had a glorious mess in trying to keep the site up to date. so i was looking for some nice free ‘CMS, checking out systems like mamboserver or typo3, but finally i decided to use wordpress which is maybe somehow limited about static content but overall a very flexible and easy to use blogging system.

overall content of www.mdz.de will be different in the future; in addition to general “news” about mdz artists and projects i´m going to publish also personal and technical issues (like “how to” topics) as well in the blog section.
well, so far about this. hope you´ll enjoy the new mdz home…
