snippets from studio jams while working on tracks for a brand new liveset:
just available for awhile:
the electrolyt netlabel was calling for tracks dealing with the subject seek and destroy, resulting in an mp3-longplayer featuring contributions from all around the world - from ambient via electronica to technoid or indietronic…

contributers weren’t supposed to do a metallica cover version or to create exeedingly hard or noisy stuff, but rather to just keep the seek and destroy topic in mind and transport that feeling, whatever that may be, into the resulting track. A pretty interesting dogma, sounds like a good idea to me!

for many djs and friends of festplatten, hannes teichmann‘s „jäger“ (festplatten 08/2001) is the one of the most timeless tracks and the secret festplatten hit. for this reason, a remix ep was planned for a long time already, now it‘s finally done.
2 jägerfans sat down to remix this piece - sascha funke and dave dk - and hannes also treated himself for a new version.
we say: all three did a excellent job and brought to us a marvelous ep. while all three‘s patch definitely is the dancefloor, they all have quite a different approach:
sascha takes the jäger down from his stance and talkes him into a loveley battue with no escape. dave relies on experience - sight, aim, squeeze the trigger, while hannes slowly sneaks up from behind and hypnotizes his victims.
a1 sascha funkes klüngel remix
b1 dave dk’s chase up the groove remix
b2 ha.te dub
