2006: 10 years of mdz, 4 years in berlin - it’s high time for party!
so i did activate some of my buddies from the hood and of the label, made up a motley crew lineup and threw out this mp3-flyer.

wintermute (djungle fever/force inc/molecular funk guerilla)
if anyone knows about vintage japanese grooveboxes or the SID it’s jan kiefer aka “wintermute” (not the one on hardfloor!). for about 15 years the now-cologne-based artist is modding his boxes or cloning x0x machines to squeeze out dirty brute force acid sounds, last but not least playing among acidosaurs like dr. walker & co.

100records (edm/100records/acido)
100records aka dirk budde & osti (on/off) are proving electronic music not to be just functional (read: one-dimensional) but may be also literarily, politically and above all: frictional.

raumagent alpha (festplatten/dumb-unit/mdz)
no one might stand still while the space agent is tweaking his disco machines and the good old commodore 64. funky minimal, maximum warp!

messsonde gertrud (berlin)
they are the friedrichshain-kreuzberg based collective sound jam par excellence with heavy cast-rotation, somehow anti-functional but always trippy. countdown’s on, lift-off in the wee hours of the morning.

djs:

acid maria (raw elements/festplatten/gigolo/ware/etc.)
while talking bout acid you must never forget about miezi morales aka acid maria! thanks to the festplatten-connection she’s aboard. so put on your smiley-shirt, raise your hands and let miezi show you how to party.

on/off (on/off)
m. osti aka on/off, minstrel of messsonde gertrud as well es 100records, got damned cool records so he’s selling them in our favorite record store.

b-funk (tztztz/sfbewegung)
another member of messsonde gertrud: b-funk from sf-bewegung (society for motion) goes acid. nice payback for usually i’m playing at his parties ;)

raumagent alpha vs. lipstick dj team (mdz/electrolyt)
after the 11h-marathon at heimatmusik SC berlin andreas dorwarth & krystal bell, aka lipstick, and raumagent alpha decided to tag-team only. et voila!

the phb-club is located at the terrain of the former patzenhofer brauerei (like “villa rot”). entrance is at landsberger allee 52 (at the big cinema). if you’re driving by car please use the underground parking of the cinema.
